The impact we've seen in 2023/24

Our annual Impact Report is now available to download on the link below.

In the past year, the Matthew Project has supported over 1,700 young people and adults across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire through a range of different services. We support people who:

- have problems with drugs or alcohol
- struggle with poor mental health

- face barriers to education, employment and training

We also have specialist services:
- run by veterans for veterans affected by drug and alcohol issues and living with PTSD
- for family members isolated and impacted by others’ drug and alcohol issues

In total, we have provided support and services to:

944

children and young people facing a range of challenges including barriers to work, substance misuse, and mental ill health

534

adults in recovery from addiction through a range of therapeutic and skills-based programmes

262

veterans, serving personnel, and family members affected by substance use and/or PTSD
