Outside the Wire is delighted to announce that we’ve been awarded £38,848 in additional funding from The Soldiers’ Charity.
Thanks to this funding from ABF The Soldiers' Charity, we will be able to continue with our affected others service – supporting dependents and close family of veterans and current serving personnel across Norfolk and Suffolk – for the next 12 months. This work involves behavioural family therapy (BFT), which helps families to improve communication and to support one another, as well as one-to-one support and group activities. Over the next year, this project will support at least 32 individuals across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Wayne Copsey, Outside the Wire Manager, said:
“The Soldiers’ Charity has been integral to the development of Outside the Wire over the past few years. Your funding has allowed us to provide vital support to armed forces families, children, and partners across Norfolk and Suffolk, and we are extremely grateful for this further show of support. Thanks to this grant, we will be able to continue offering this vital service for yet another year, supporting those who need it most.
Your grant will help us to continue providing specialist care and support to families across Norfolk and Suffolk, helping to improve family relationships and working through any issues our service users may have. On behalf of our staff and beneficiaries, thank you once again.”
